THE ASK
Full site UX, redesign, and copy writing. Client X needed visual designs to be created of their digital experience, to increase the focus on product A and their primary audience's content and needs.
These designs would need to leverage existing components within their CMS.
MY ROLE
I was the sole consultant on this project.
I created website journeys for the 2 primary audiences, information architecture (e.g. Nav and Sub Nav), designs for all pages (up to 15) leveraging existing component library, creating content for all pages (up to 15), as well as a concise style guide.
A PEEK AT MY PROCESS
RV SESSIONS
We gathered 6 internal stakeholders from various teams - Marketing, Technology, and Internal Documents - for stakeholder interviews. We worked together to identify our top two target audiences, key use cases and user scenarios, and to gain consensus for the direction of the designs. To do so, I facilitated group discussions, as well as a sketching session where we had stakeholders sketch out their individual visions for the new homepage. The purpose was to see what content and designs everyone expected to see on the homepage and allow an opportunity for discussion/voting to get everyone on the same page regarding what features/content was important and what was not. This ensured that all stakeholders could communicate their visual direction and expectations.
